The game begins on a 6x6 grid with four colour-linked birds. Each bird collects matching gems it can reach, moves into the cleared position and can continue if another matching symbol becomes available. New symbols refill the open spaces as the round develops.
A stake is selected before the round starts. The four birds then search for reachable gems that match their colours. Collected symbols add their value to the round total and build the feature meter, while new symbols can extend the same sequence.
